Johnny doesn't want to run again. Bib Mouth has been elected three times.
I liked my troop's policy which prohibited a person from standing for
re-election if he had served a full year in the position. Thus, a scout
who had been elected SPL twice (two full terms) could not be re-elected.
If a Scout was elected mid-term (our terms were six months but occasionally
someone would not serve a full term) then he could be re-elected twice and
perhaps serve as long as 17 months. We had the same policy for PLs. It
was proposed and adopted by the PLC, about the same time the US Constitution
was ammended to limit the US president to two terms!!
