The Ventura County council office confirms the report of this change in the
final turn-in date for Eagle Scout packets. Any and all packets turned in
prior to close of business on Wednesday, August 31, 1994, will not require
Family Life merit badge as a required merit badge. Our council office
received the word yesterday.
In fairness to our professional staff at the national office, one should
note that the National Court of Honor is composed primarily of volunteers.
