Concern on this that occured to me. I really hope the father had
connections to 900 numbers turned off. It might be too tempting to some...

It may not be here for scout camps, but it is certainly close for computer
camps. At some computer camps with email access, students are encouraged to
write to their parents over email and I wouldn't be surprised if access to
the computer utilties for talk,phone and irc are also included.
I'm quite sure that the CTY (center for talented youth) camp that
I went to in 8th grade has that sort of setup now.
