In Canadian Scouting, a Scout can help with a Cub pack as a "Kim",
somewhat similar to the Den Chief position.
I'd be opposed to putting a Cub who had just left the pack in a
position with the pack right away. In my opinion, they should give
Scouts a chance without being still 'in' the Cub pack.. and being a Den
Chief right away also appears (to me) to not really allow him to
be a leader for the den, but almost to be another den member. He
should be looked up to, like an older brother, no?
