Praise to the "Used to be's"

As I have posted before, I get the mailing list only once daily in
digest form, and I really make use of the summary of topics at the
beginning. The topic compiler program just looks at the subject of a
posting, and if there is _any_ minor variation, the items become two
Yesterday, "Expensive Wood Badge fee?" racked up 21 hits to the same
topic! Got to be a new record for keeping the topic the same! (Probably
a new record for one-day responses to a query, also.) Can you picture
how long and redundant the list of topics would have been if there had
been about 10 variations of the subject line?

are a sure sign of a superior life-form. ;-)
