Boy, did I smile when I read these words. I, too, was quite involved in
scouting as a youth (eagle, junior leader, etc.) and have managed to provide
the world with a couple of Cubs (although my wife would take issue as to who
did the actual providing ;-) ). A year ago, my father, a long-time scouter in
the Detroit Area Council, also reminded *me* of my debt to Scouting when my
oldest became a Cub. Now I'm a Den Leader. What goes around comes around, eh?
