(Hope this didn't go to the list x2 - just got an error msg.)
Hilding asked asked about a survey to measure why and where troops camp where
they do. Our Council, Twin Rivers, has a survey that they distribute a couple
of times during the year. It attempts to gather info on which troops use which
council camp and the purpose, day, weekend or week-long outtings. We are asked
to ID which facilities our troop used during the past six months, how did we
like it and a place for remarks and suggestions. I've seen and completed this
form for the past three years, although I've never seen a report.
Hilding, if you like, E-mail me if you want a copy.
In two weeks I'll be off to Camp Cedarlands in the Adirondacks for my first
Summer Camp as SM. (Chris, my problem child won't be going - a needed break!)
Can't wait to get back to one of the most beautiful settings I have ever
camped in, not to mention lurking around the cooking MB area for some of those
cobblers and other goodies :-) I'll be keeping an eye on all this
latrine/shower/homesickness activity I've been reading about, luckily we have
not had any of these problems in the past.
