More camp size

I got several good responses to my question on council camp size. I had
camped at two of the camps mentioned -- Ransburg and Salmen.
Don raised the excellent point that numbers aren't the only question--that
doing things in proportion makes a big difference.
I would appreciate more responses on the question of numbers for any who can
share the information. For the moment, I am only interested in the number of
campers you have per week in a council camp. Later on, I will attack the
question of camper to staff ratio, campers to acres, distances to camp.
Direct replies would be fine to keep the list traffic down.
Our council has 125 campers this week, 80 next week and 60 the last week.
And our troop had a great but very hot week in camp. I missed the week in
camp this year (first time in many years) but did get up for visitor's night
and was pleased to see my oldest tapped for OA. Looks like he may finally
do something in Scouting that I have not done.
