Mosaic documents don't have to be viewed with a GUI.
The Lynx program allows access to mosaic documents from a VT100
terminal and the only things you lose are the graphics....
There is a site a U of Kansas that allows access to Web using Lynx
Try 126.96.36.199 and log in as www. It doesn't allow Goto a random URL
but other than that it is full functionality. There are other sites as well..
