A Gopher site is menu driven, so it's easy to use. The mail to Gopher
stuff is a little harder to use. You have to send a mail message telling
the Gopher site what to select off of the menu. That means I might have to
send a half dozen messages until I find what I am looking for. However,
most Gophers also have a search and download capability so even that isn't
too bad. Of course, if you are connected directly to the Internet, you
can logon to the Gopher directly. If you'd like to try a Gopher service,
type the command "gopher world.std.com" and check out "The World" gopher.
This should work with either Unix or VMS systems.
