A scouter by the name of Paul Myers had published some very good
general reference books for general patch collecting. But there
are also some specific CSP and OA guide books, and price guides
etc. None cover everything.
We have a Patch traders historical group arround and about Buffalo NY.
We host a traders fair every September. Our council historian, Paul
Frietag is one of the major organizers. There are also simular
TRADE-OR-REES near NY city and in New Jersey, Philly and Pittsburgh.
There is also a MAJOR scouting "dealer" named Jim Clough in Glens Falls NY.
I am not sure where you are, but let me know is any sound interresting.

I can also send you info on the Buffalo area traders weekend, or the address
or the 2 major collectors associations. They have member lists, and maybe
you can find a local reference, but I'll have to find them.
I specialize in NY state items for all councils and lodges. If you have
some specific queations on NY stuff, maybe I can even help.
