Don, actually it is not necessary to invoke any name brand images at all.
The internet identifier I suggested on the rec.scouting board would
consist of a border to any regular patch which consisted of the binary
representation of the ascii characters INTERNET. Binary representation of
zeros and ones being represented by colors black and white. They could
even be designed to resemble the strands of a rope the way square knots
are done. At the time I was suggesting this border for the purple world
scouting patch, but it would work just as well for any patch.
