John, my wifw made lodge flaps for three of us. She used a backing and
seed beads. It took her about 6 hours to do the flap. She estimated that
the sash would take about 30 hours. The problem with the flap is that it
weighs enough to deform the shirt, a sash would weigh pounds?
She used no pattern except the lodge flap. I would imagine that you cold
graph the sash onto graph paper to keep count. She attach each bead with
a double loop from the back. :
I am planning on wearing mine to the NOAC.
