Nowhere . . . have I ever gotten the impression that I was to
teach that anyone was "morally inferior" to anyone else.
Did you read the decision in the Mt. Diablo case? By my reading,
quite a few Scouters testified under oath that someone who teaches
otherwise is not acceptable as a Scouter. Based on the testimony
described in the court decision, I don't believe that it would be
possible for an Acceptable Scouter to behave responsibly if approached
by a 14-year-old Scout in the process of realizing that he's gay.
