Welcome aboard Scott.

Sounds like you have the situation well in hand. Usually the Webelos and
leaders just want to come and watch. They may want to try a little of the
hands on activity that goes on during your meeting. This all fits in with
the Webelos advancement requirements. You may want to have coffee and for the
parents. Maybe do a presentation about the troop, history, rules, expectations
introduce the SPL and his staff (Troop Guides) with more palaver.
They leave with warm feelings. Followup with a call and another invitation
to do an activity. If you don't have them hooked by then, keep trying.
Did you support them when they did their lad & dad sleep over?
There is a publication that talks about the people that make the
crossover possible; webelos den leader, cubmaster, scoutmaster, den chief,
etrc. Hope this helps.
