Info first: I have the preliminary issue of the new American Girl (I
don't think it's called that-?) at home. I will get info from it and
fill y'all in. It seemed a bit glitzy at first glance ....
Boys Life: what is the big deal with 100% participation? A ribbon?
You REQUIRE families to shell out $7+ for a magazine they don't want
when it doesn't really help with rank advancement, badges, etc. ????
Before I get thousands of flames, I know ONLY A FEW of your troops
may require subscribing, I am addressing them. And yes, my son has
a subscription. He and I read it, but it isn't as useful as they
suggest. READING about an outdoor event isn't in Outdoorsman's list
of requirements, is it? So why suggest that the article helps you
attain Outdoorsman? An article on knots, or campfire safety rules
would help, but I haven't seen that stuff in ages.
I won't go into the Bible being touted over other religious material.
