I'm always in favor of bulk buying. I think a case of compasses
(compai?) should be a good start. I'm sure Campmor will give you
a volume discount. Just double check how many whistles and
compasses and string come in case, otherwise you may end up with
an imbalance in your stock. <grin>
The way we protect the Troop compasses from loss is buying tying
three feet of blaze orange marking tape to each one. I've never
lost my personal compass, but I always keep it in my pack where I
won't lose it.
How did the Scoutmaster Fundamentals course go? My Troop
Committee Chairman came back with her _Trained_ rocker patch, so
I know that you guys finished.
