Information on Wood Badge Course NE-VI-37
Course Limit: 42 participants. A standby list will be created on a first-come,
first served basis.
Location: Hidden Valley Camp, R.D. #2, Loysville, PA 17047
Course Dates: August 20 through 27, 1994
Week-long course consisting of: Seven consecutive days in camp.
Course Follow-up Seminar: Saturday, November 12, 1994
Cost: $135.00 (Includes food, camping, program materials, insurance and
administrative costs) Partial camperships available based on need.
Medical Examination: A current (within 12 months) medical examination, form
Type 3, is required to participate in the course. Medicals will be re-
evaluated by the Council medical staff before the start of the course.
Qualifications: Scouters attend Boy Scout Leader Wood Badge by invitation of
the host Council Scout Executive, upon the recommendation of their own dis-
trict training chairman, district commissioner, and Scout Executive. Each
Scouter invited to participate in Wood Badge Training must have completed Boy
Scout Leader Basic Training or have at least two years tenure in active Boy
Scout troop leadership or in a position directly related to troop operations.
Remember, qualified training is the best guarantee for an excellent Scouting
program. All courses are open to qualified male and female Scouters.
