RE>Wood Badge beads
Help me out! Who is this and where are you writing from! I got no header or
signature indicating author! I'm from Oregon and know the area well having
hiked the Eagle Creek Trail myself!

I completed my Wood Badge ticket last spring and had scheduled to
be presented my beads at an outdoor Court of Honor to be held at
the trailhead of the Eagle Creek Trail and the beautiful Columbia
River Gorge. We were going to complete our 50 miler there, taking
us from Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood, along the Pacific Crest Trail
to the Eagle Creek Trail, and then on down to the Columbia River.
We didn't finish the 50-miler, due to unseasonal rain that the
boys just weren't prepared for. As a result, the Court of Honor
was rescheduled for our church building a couple of weeks later.
I didn't reschedule getting my beads yet. I really had my heart
set on having them presented to me in the outdoors. That was in
July. It's now February (as most of you know :-> ), and I am
anxious to receive my beads. I still very much want to have them
presented in the outdoors, but I don't think I want to wait until
spring weather. I also don't want to plan a ceremony just for
my sake. My Wood Badge Scoutmaster and Coach Counselor both live
about 50 miles away and I would like to be considerate of the
distance they have to travel when I make my plans.
I'm really fresh out of ideas. Can someone please straighten me
out. What to do?! What to do!? What to do?!
