We were having a discussion locally about our Guide's Own for an upcoming
event, and I am also helping with an upcoming Training about Guide's Own's.
I was hoping I might be able to get some feedback from people on the list in
order to put my own feelings into a more solid form.
As with everything else there are some Guide's Own's that are really memorable
and some that are less so. I was wondering what people found to be the factors
that separated these two classes of Guide's or Scout's Own's.
Some of the things we came up with were:
I know there are lots of other factors....
If you have special memories of a GO or SO what made it memorable?
And what themes have you used successfully? (My favourite one up til now was a
Lollipop GO which was fun, relevant and very memorable - I can post a copy if
anyone is interested.)
Any thoughts at all would be greatly appreciated,
