Quality Districts -- Quality Councils -- Quality Units
All three have specific, written requirements to meet in order to achieve the ho
nor of Quality. NO council can achieve Quality council if none of the districts
do -- NO district can if the units do not make it (there MUST be at least 50%
of the district units who make quality).
The requirements for each stage change almost every year. Thus, it is necessary
to have the CURRENT form when working on the Quality status of units, districts
, and councils.
In our latest Scouting Magazine, there is a short statement in the NEWS BRIEF co
lumn that states ----earning the National Summertime Award will be part of the r
equired reguirement no. 3 for ALL packs in 1995. -- The 1995 forms will be eval
uating all units for their performance in 1994! ----- thus all packs better get
in gear and earn that National Summertime Award this summer, or they will NOT b
e Quality --- if the % of units in any district drops below 50% of that district
's units earning Quality -- the district can NOT either. The KEY 3 of every dis
trict are responsible to CONTINUALLY watch the Quality District status for the e
ntire year. The requirements are much the same as a unit's are --- membership -
- must have at least one more unit at the end of the year than the district had
at the end of the previous year -- advancements --- trained leaders - district a
ctivities -- finance goals must be made.
Ask you KEY 3 for the current form that will be used to evaluate the 1994 year.
