Girl Scout Sunday is not the same thing as Thinking Day. Thinking day is
celbrated Feb 22, the same day, world wide. It is a day for scouts worldwide
to think about our diversity and the friends that we have throughout the world
in the WAGGGS. Many of us use this time of year to increase our knowledge of
other cultures. Girl Scout Sunday, is March 6th, is a time for spiritual
reflections, it also marks the beginning of Girl Scout Week, which honors the
founding of Girl Scouts in the US, by Juliette Gordon Low. Girl Scout Sunday
is only celebrated in the USA.
