Some of you may remember that before Christmas, I posted a message re. a propos
ed trip to the USA. Wel, I have now recieved notification from the Conference o
rganisers, and can start to make some plans.
The conference itsellf is being held in south Pennsylvaania, in the third week
in July. After that time I hope to travell a bit. Having been a "tourist city-h
opper"last time I was in the US, I'd love to get out and explore some of the co
untry-side. I'm a bit wary about going off trekking by myself, although I'm fai
rly experienced in UK conditions. Is anyone planning a Scout trip at the end of
July/first two weeks of August? I'm not too limited on locality, (since the Un
iversity is paying my airfare to the US, I can afford to get around a bit once
I'm there!) If you are planning a camp, or similar, and feel you could cope wit
h a (slightly loopy!) British Scout Leader along, pllease get in touch. It'd be
great to meet some Scouting folk whille I am out there.

Apollogies for the lousy spelling - this keyboard has a dodgy l key - it either
doesn't appear, or prints twice. Maybe it's welsh!
