Here enclosed, you will find a letter, which was sent to some
european international commissioner. I said SOME and EUROPEAN.
It can happen, that you are not from Europe, and to your
inttl. commissioner, this letter was not send.
This is not an emergency call, but better said "a very strong
wish to explore the diversity of Scouting round the world".
My wish is, to get very reliable data. Therefore, I ask you to
pass these questions to a person, who is authorised and very
well informed about the policy of your association. Maybe this
could be some county/district/national leader. If you think, YOU
would belong to the "good informed" people, please do not
hesitate to answer.
Questions below were put to be answered by Scout and/or Guide
association, please find a suitable interpretation of them.
If there will be enough answers, I can oblige myself to edit the
stuff and maybe send it to the persons, who are interested, or to
include it in FAQ Scouting around the world.

Rebuilding the scouting after many years of silence is not easy.
With many different, small and big problems are faced people,
who want to re-establish scouting and guiding in Eastern Europe.
One of the Scout law says, that a Scout appreciates to be a
trustworthy and the other says, that he likes to help his fellow
brothers and sisters in Scouting.
In many countries, after more that 80 years, I believe, that
different models of Scouting have developed. Each coutry have
a specific backgrounds - social, culturel, economic and from
this a variety of scouting and guiding exists. With the
following questions, I would like to discover the way of
Scouting in your contry. If possible, please forward these
questions to some of your coleagues, who are really experienced
in these questions.
Because of the urgent need, I ask you to send me a short replies
by fax or e-mail (if possible, by the end of November), for any
further explanation, please use post.
Thank you for your cooperation!
