On the subject of advertisements, while I was watching football this
afternoon, I saw an ad for the Girl Scouts. It didn't look like it
was something necessarily produced locally, so perhaps GSUSA is geting
into advertising nationwide. I wonder some at the demographics (but
then again, football games draw everything from beer ads to ads for
sophisticated business systems, so anything's fair game I guess).
The ad seemed fairly good (I didn't watch it too closely, since I have
no immediate plans to become involved with them). It featured several
young girls (early elementary school) involved with various fun and
games type activities.
Perhaps BSA National should consider something similar for cubs and
others for boy scouts and explorers.
