Well, since we've been taking about scouting films, I thought I'd mention
a few others.
_Mr. Scoutmaster_ is an old b/w scouting movie. Starts Clifton Webb (he
played Mr Bellivede in the about 3 movies) as a tv personality whose show
_Spectrum_ will successeful, wants to learn more about kids (his show is
supposed to be a kid's show but only adult like it). He gets roped into
being scoutmaster for a rambuncious bunch of scouts (one of whose is the
son of his major sponsor) and there is a cub scout who comes from a broken
family who is sort of a mascot for the group. This cub scout saves Clifton's
life and he and his new bride adopt the boy. The show ends with Clifton
having a court of honor on his tv show where they aware the cub scout a
medal for saving Clifton's life. Kind of a corny movie, but it is pretty
good. I believe I saw it on AMC (American Movie Classics)
There is also a 2 hour documentary called _Scouting Round the World_ which
I've seen on A&E. Pretty good. Lot of stuff on BP and scouts worldwide.
That's all I can thing of.
