How's this for a pipe dream... ...a series of 30 second commercials
consisting of quick cuts of Scouts in uniform doing rugged, physical
challenges, riding horseback at camp, Explorers on sailing ships, and all
of them ending simply with the Scout emblem... and running it on MTV.
When I took broadcasting classes in college (20 yrs. ago), stations were
required to run Public Service ads... I don't know if this is still the
rule, but this would seem to fit that description.
...just a thought...
