OFFICE MEMO Kudu Horns Date:10/20/93
Recently I asked the Scouts-L list and the rec.scouting news group about
obtaining Kudu horns. I have gotten a response from a Scouter in South Africa
who has pointed me to a possible source of horns from a farm that raises Kudus.
When they thin the herd, some horns become available. Does anyone have any
experience with the legal import of endangered animal material into the US? I
have a call into the US Customs Fish and Wildlife folks, but thought I'd ask
the collective wisdom of the net about this subject. Thanks in advance for any
