Then you need to consider downloading the complete EAGLETIP files from
the listserver. We started talking about various aspects of the Eagle
Scout process before the BSA came out with the "Life to Eagle"
workbook and I've kept answers and discussions on those matters. In
the past spring, my girlfriend and I extracted them, took out all of
the header information and the sig files at the end, and asked Jon to
please post them to our archives.
There are eight files (presently) in the EAGLETIP series, including
files that allow you to compose all of the following ones into a
"book" to give out to Scoutmasters, Commissioners or Eagle Candidates.
There was a *lot* of great information, lots of discussions on why or
why not a particular item should or shouldn't be done. You can get
the entire package by asking the LISTSERVER (not the list) to GET
SCOUTS-L EAGLETIP $PACKAGE.
It comes close to a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) file than
anything else we've got!
