My Eagle dilemma/question

WOW what a response. In less than 12 hours I have received about 15
responses both through private e-mail and on the list. Many thanks to
those who took the time to help me out.
Mike and Chris, that letter is SUPER. It's just what I'm looking for.
Something I failed to mention in my original post is that I had been
doing this sort of thing with my brother and he sailed right through
his BOR Monday night. To his credit he has grown into quite a notable
young man. He attended a summer mission trip as well as a senior retreat
and has grown to be more in touch with himself than many adults, IMHO.
One of the men on the board said he had never been on such a smooth BOR.
Jason's answers were concise, honest, and on the mark.
Also some people mentioned the reservation that my letter would replace
personal interaction with the candidate. I can assure you this is not the
case and I don't see Mike and Chris' letter as doing this. I am still
available at Troop meetings for questions and phone calls are no problem.
I guess what I am seeking was to establish some sort of an FAQ for Eagle
candidates. Like any other FAQ this would provide answers while not
closing the door on interaction between myself and the candidate.
