Killing of game in MB's

Greetings to all,
There was a question on whether the "old time" merit badges had any
references to killing game. I checked out the 1911 handbook and found
NOTHING except for:
Taxidermy - the scout had to show how to dress/prepare pelts properly
Poultry (Keeping?) - prepare (live) birds & eggs for transport
kill and dress poultry for eating
No others (Pathfinder, etc), especially required MB's, showed any
requirements dealing with killing game or small/large livestock. The
majority of the MB's had requirements which started "Tell how ..." Many of
the merit badges which have survived have quite different requirements.
When I get some time (laugh, laugh) I'll try to type some in and post them.
