Sorry you didn't finish! I know my parents were very disappointed when my
brother dropped out lacking completing his last merit badge. Everything
else was done, and all he had to do was show up at the merit badge
counselors house and it was in the bag. Unfortunately, he decided that
Scouts weren't for him and dropped out. I don't know if he regrets it or
not, he further went onto spend some time in jail, but has been good for the
past 10 years or so.
My story may not be for everyone! I know I can only really influence one
person and that is my son. If others feel they can use it to motivate, than
so be it!
I hope your son finishes his Eagle! It's worth it!
