tenure for training awards

Requirements for our training awards are set by national and are not subject to
interpretation by local councils, districts, units, or individuals. Therefore,
as has been the case for the past 20+ years, the tenure for these awards is
counted as follows:
CUB SCOUT LEADER RECOGNITION UPDATE
" ....Also note that the same tenure may be used to earn Cub Scout Leader
Recognition awards in more than one registered position (such as den leader
coach and roundtable commissioner, or Webelos den leader and unit commissioner,
etc.), but ONLY IF THE SCOUTER IS REGISTERED IN BOTH POSITION.
Cub Scouters may not register in more than one position in the same pack
(except the chartered organization representative, who may also serve as
chairman or member of the pack committee). ...."
(from SCOUTING MAGAZINE, Oct. 1992 issue, page 6).
The above holds true for ALL training awards, and is NOT exclusive to C.S. only.
It just happened to be appended to the anouncement of the new (then) Tiger Cub
Coach award, and other C.S. award changes.
Hope this helps. Sorry it was late in coming, but I had to trouble shoot a
problem in Mech. Eng. last week, their Macs were "throwing up!"
