We are going to need to do something if we are going to get all of summer
camp over in six weeks total and still allow all boy that want to go the
chance to attend summer camp.
One problem we would have with the set up that we have now in allowing some
to eat in the mess hall and others to do their own cooking and use the same
menu and food, is that the council now has a contract with one of the
companies that do food for airlines, they get the food somewhat precooked
and prepared, so in fact all the camp cooks at the mess hall do is heat it
and serve it. The food is nothing great, but at least it has stopped most of
the major complaints about the food.
