I don't know what National says, but New Hampshire's Daniel Webster
Council has separate camps, Camp Carpenter in Manchester, NH for
all Cubs and Webelos, and Hidden Valley in Gilmanton, NH for Boy
We were told that was done because of numbers. As a result, the
Scouts have the total use of the entire camp, which is, from my
one of the best I've seen in the Northeast.
Were you told that the concurrency was mandated or the separate
Separate facilities could be solved by alternating weeks between
and Scouts. I would suggest getting together with the Camping
at least one more time to work out specifics you can be satisfied
sure that you're not the only pack with these problems. You could
your Pack to another council's camp. Some Packs and Troops do this
in a while for a change in scenery.
I really hope you find a good solution. Summer Camp should be
a boy looks forward to and remembers in a positive way.

P.S. Could you tell us who you are in the body of the letter?
Your name might
be in the "From:" field of your mailer, but by the time it goes
through all the
gateways, it rarely comes through intact.
