As we've discussed before, the last parts of the scout oath are GOALS,
not absolutes. The interesting point, Troye, is IF current research
bears out some preliminary findings that homosexuality may be GENETIC
and, therefore, no more a choice than, say, having diabetes or green
eyes. That opens a real can of worms on both sides of the issue.
In terms of physically fit, you should see our Scout Executive or
'Fat Boy' as he is "affectionately" referred to.
And let's be careful enforcing those three points too closely, I know
there are plenty of days when the 'mentally awake' part would be a
problem for a lot of people I know (myself included) 8-))
