Hi, everyone! A few topics are on my mind this evening, beginning with
Jamboree. Reading all your posts was great fun, although I must confess to
some envy. Wish I coulda been there! Your excellent descriptions got me
excited, and in turn I spread the fever to the rest of our troop's
leadership. Now, we're all interested in shooting for the Vancouver Jamboree
in 1995. Does anyone know what we have to do to throw our hat in the ring?
Next, we just held our annual palanning meeting. Our troop traditionally
hosts two summer camp opportunities -- one an in-council camp, the other an
out-olf-state camp. The youth leqaders in the troop want to go to Alaska
(which sounds great to me!). Are there any exceptional scout camps in
Alaska? This year, the troop went to Merriwether in Oregon. I wasn't able to
go, but from all accounts, it was a top-flight camp.
Finally, a question about clip-art in the archives. I got SCOUTPCX MISC1
only to find that it's a Mac piece of art. Is there anyway to use it on a
PC? Which of the clipart files (other than those marked PCX) are compatible
with IBM clones?
As usual, thanks for all the help! BTW, it looks like our troop is going to
go for the first aid kits as a fundraiser; thanks for the input!
