You seem to have the same impression that I have. I too tried to go with
the council contigent, but was turned down as being `too young' (their words).
This to a 28-year old who had been a assistant scoutmaster and scoutmaster
for several years. That kind of burned me up when I heard it.
And YES, I know we're there for the kids, but I want to have some fun too.
I got real sick of being harped on this last jamboree from the pros running
the TP. They treated us as if we had done something wrong, when we hadn't done
