I do I do...but it's probably too late for you to get it by now...
What the Jamboree Staff Service is referring to is the small training
card that we all *should have* received at the conclusion of the youth
protection program....many Councils didn't do this, and as a result,
we are having problems or can we say "disconnect"??
The letter from the Scout Executive should do the trick....make sure
that the letter is signed by *the* Council/Scout Executive or the
Assistant Scout Executive (in larger Councils)...that's what they are
going to look for if you don't have the card.
Point of clarification....Scout Execs were told to start issuing the
cards in the last program year...but many are not doing it (obvious,
right!), because they are afraid of "scaring off" a lot of Scouters!
If you don't have a card that says that you've been through the
training, you should get one...or attend the training again!
