Mike, I have applied to be staff, but haven't heard yet from Nat'l.
My DE says that it should be coming - some Nat'l staff have been on
vacation, etc. So, I expect I'll be there.

I'll check with the scout office in Chapman regarding THAT bush hat to
see if it's available. I've built a list of those who have expressed
an interest and let you and the rest know. Personally, if they do not
have any left, and don't expect any by the Jamboree, I've thought about
getting the Smoky Bear hat for the sun protection. As was mentioned
numerious times, the basball style hats offer too little protection!
The price in weight and $s may tell me 'No!' though.
