Mike has indicated the pre-Oredeal ceremony in the Ordeal Ceremony book.
If I understand Rod correctly, he is looking for a tap-out ceremony to be
used at a camporee or other event to Tap-out the scouts elected to O-A.
Most lodges do this prior to the Pre-Ordeal (or the scouts will not know
they are suppose to be at the pre-odeal).
The current ceremony book is vauge on this issue. Giving only some general
instructions for a tap-out at a troop meeting after an election. The old
Ordeal books do have some ceremonies, but the ones I have were removed
because they (National) did not want you doing these ceremonies (some
parents go upset with the drawing of a red arrow on the forhead - the mark
of the devil!).
There are arrowmen out there who write and share tap-out ceremonies to be
used by their lodges. I do not have sources (service, not ceremonies was
always my center in O-A) but I will see if I can find out some.
My understanding is that National is very flexible about the Tap-out
ceremonies as long as you run it as a CALLING OUT CEREMONY which is what I
think they are trying to call it now since they do not want you actually
tapping anyone. I know there is someone on this list who should be more
current that I am on this stuff and should be able to clarify (I have not
been an advisor for some 8 years now.)
