I read your memo on Woodbadge, and was also compelled to add my "$.02".
My wife and I went through the Woodbadge course in St. Louis last spring,
and are currently working on our tickets. We hope to be done in October.
Now living in Charleston S.C. it is heart warming to have fellow "Thundering
White Buffalos" call from time to time to check in. We spent one week
together, but it might as well had been a life time. Because the friendships
that were developed during that one week training will last a life time.
The week long training program along with the commitment to complete a ticket
afterwards has been a great benefit to my own grow not only in Scouting but
in my personal life as well. This program has done a lot to teach me
leadership skills, and team work with others.
As you said Bruce, it is one of the highlights of my adult life.
