I am a new subscriber to "SCOUT-L", and I thought I would introduce
I lived in St. Louis, Missouri all my life until December 1992.
As a kid in St. Louis, I was very active in the Scouts, getting my
Eagle in December 1964. I was active with the Boy Scouts until
1974, when I got married. Becoming busy in having a family, and a
career, my Scouting life went dormant.
In 1990 my stepson took an interest in Scouts, and well you know
how it goes, "Once a Scout always a Scout". I started working with
a troop again.
Last May, my wife and I both decided to do Woodbadge. We completed
the week long training, and started our tickets. My job at
McDonnell Douglas was not looking to promising, so in December
after living my entire 43 year life in St. Louis, we pulled up
roots, and moved to Charleston, South Carolina.
All of us immediately got back involved in Scouting, my son finding
a troop he liked, and my wife and I looking to continue our

District, and a Unit Commissioner, my wife is trying to get on with
the district training staff, and is also a Unit Commissioner.
Yesterday there were 2 articles that came to my terminal from
"SCOUT-L", one on Eagle Board of Review, and the other on OA.

In regards to the article on OA, I would like to respond to as a OA
