The key issue is only ONE temporary patch centered on the right pocket.
I have worn the same temporary patch for the last 10 years--National
Camping School Staff--and don't intend to replace it any time soon.
You can wear which ever ONE YOU choose.
BTW, in a unit with marginal uniforming eight weeks ago, we had a majority
of Scouts in complete uniform last night. Since I had only one patch to
award, we had to get out the tape measure to decide on the "most correct."
We ended up with two and couldn't decide so flipped a coin. As the coin
hit the floor the SPL discovered a spare from another council in his pocket
so we gave the winner of the coin toss a choice of patches. In a few weeks
we'll do another and I plan to have a couple of dozen patches to give to all
who are in complete uniform with all badges in the proper places.
If any of you have particularly "beautiful" CSPs, let me know.
