Well -- here goes some resources for your question on Quality unit --
First of all, you probably heard that statement in a basic training course, as
it is probably in one of them, but I do not have them at the office (not all of

"Only one Quality Unit emblem may be worn on the uniform at any time. Ti should
be worn on the right sleeve."
In the C.S. Leaders book, chapter 14, page 151, we find:
"Quality Unit Award. Embroidered c.loth strip worn by boys and leaders in packs
who meet the criteria. (See Quality Unit Award Application.) Worn centered on
right sleeve, 4 inches below shoulder seam. Only the most recent award may be

"Qulaity Unit, cloth, youth members and leader, right sleeve, position 3, no.
8760-(year). Only the most recently earned Quality Unit emblem may be worn."
There is one other place you might check, I don't have one here at the office
and since I am moving in two days, I have no clue where to look for ANYTHING
You might check with your commissioner. In charter packets there is a Quality
Unit application PLUS there is supposed to be a beige color page of items that
can be ordered relative to Quality Unit, and that might tell you specifically.
It is true, however, that you can only relate the QU award to the unit number of
that uniform. It is the same as the Arrowhead Honor, which may ONLY be worn
under the commissioner position patch for which it was earned, NOT under SM,
