The visitor policy for any OFFICIAL scout visits was published in
scouting I think, but what I read indicated that you will need
a copy of a BSA national, approved/signed tour permit to check in.
Visits are limited to ONE day with a tour permit. If, on the other
hand, you are there to visit friends or family or bring your OLD
SCOUTS-L buddies a nice large PIZZA on thursday, I don't think you
are limited. As I understand it, you will need to list the name
and position or unit of who you want to visit.
The limitations are as I understand it, to try to relieve constant
congestion to the point that the scouts that PAID for the jambo
do not get to see some areas, or ride on the bus system that is
full of visitors, and with mile long lines at the trading posts.
An off Jamboree site has also been established for a week long
TRADERS meeting area. There will be RULES and restrictions for
trading at the official jamboree areas.
If you have more detail questions, let me know, I just recieved
my JAMBO STAFF guide in the mail today.
