HMMMM ? and interresting question????
Who is "supposed" to SELL the GS cookies and BS popcorn?
I always thought scouting (all kinds) was a family program.
I have always HELPED my son and my daughter SELL popcorn
and cookies. Every sale helps keeps the costs DOWN to parents.
(at least that is the therory)
However, after I had to pick up 1800 POUNDS of pop corn one year
(ALMOST 1 ton!), we did pass some of our sales secrets to other
scouts. I think it is great not to have to pay another cent
when it is time for summer camp or a canoe trek. On the other
hand, my wife is a teacher in a school with lots of scouts!
My daughter is away at college, but the freezer is still full
of GS cookies. OLD habbit????
So anyone want a dozen geraniums?
don, still a father
