This is a true story about a scout camp that happend some time last year
in our scout group.
I am posting this for those of you who don't get 'scouting' magazene
I don't know if it's avalable outside the UK Its in there on the letters
It was a saturday night and our scout leader was sitting down having tea,
suddenly the phone rang, it was the scouts he had left at linnet clough
camp site the night before.
Had there been an accident?
No, it was worse than that, the batterys had gone flat on their pocket TV!!!
and they wanted replacements.
So our scout leader jumped in his car and spead down to the site bearing
new batterys. These were handed over, but on looking around he noticed
somthing else. Something apparantly not as important as watching TV.
They only had 2 matches left for the remainder of the camp ( 24 hours )
( and knowing our lot these were probbly left outside on the table )
Have kids got no idea of their prioritys these days????
