I was able to confirm that ART PArk is schedules to be open the weekend
you plan your visit. I don't know if you had it on your list, however,
it is worth a stop. There is a $4 charge for parking, but no
other charge. There are lots of hands ON things for the scouts
to do, ie: MAKE re-cycled paper, make rope, potery etc.
Also there is an short hike trail along the river, at the
start of the Niagara Escarpment, and a "cantalevered" platform
that is suspended OVER the gourge, the scout that we have taken
always enjoy it, for a few hours. AND it is in route on the US
side from FT. Niagara to the Falls OR the LEwiston-Queenston bridge
to Canada at the I-190. A lot of activity is OUT side, so if it
is cold and wet, plan a short stop. Drive up to the POWER Vista,
which is FREE, if its raining. It's all inside!
