I have two brothers that are also involved in Scouting, and they both
highly recommended Troopmaster 3.0 to me for use in our Troop. I
borrowed a back-up copy of one brother's TM3 to play around with (BTW,
Troopmaster Software compiles your unit number into the program, which
makes pirating difficult; whoever makes copies of the program can't
change the unit number on all of the reports!). I also obtained
evaluation copies of 2 other similar programs (sorry, don't remember
the names right off). After playing around with all 3, I was most
impressed with TM3. The reports that it can generate are impressive,
and it looks to be the most versatile of those I looked at.
Based on my evaluation, our sponsoring unit just purchased our own
copy of TM3 for us.
